VeriCenter, Inc., announced today that it was recognized by the Houston Business Journal as the fastest-growing small business in the Houston metro area during last week’s Award Ceremony for the Houston Small Business 100. The Houston Small Business 100 is a program of the Houston Business Journal recognizing Houston’s fastest-growing small businesses ranked by 2004 gross revenues. Houston Small Business 100 companies are headquartered within the eight-county Houston metropolitan area, have a maximum of $75 million in revenue, and have been conducting business for a minimum of five years. Among the companies recognized this year, VeriCenter finished ninth in gross revenue and first in percentage of growth, achieving 287 percent year-over-year revenue growth in 2004 over 2003.
